The Oxford Movement book recommendations (it's not specifically about books for new Anglicans, but I figured I would include it anyway as you mentioned you had Anglo-Catholic leanings). Celebrate Anglicanism is an extremely accessible introduction to Anglicanism – and in particular to its North American expression. For any who want to understand the basics of Christian Faith and the way that Faith has come to be handed on by those who would describe themselves as Anglican Christians this book covers all the basics.

The book was offered to facilitate worship in the traditional language of Anglicanism. The Anglican Service Book was published by the Church of the Good Shepherd in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. The book is principally used by Anglo-Catholics. As of the book was out of print, but used copies were available for purchase online.
